Is COD Black Ops worth a $80 purchase?

someone on craigslist is selling for $80. Should i wait or spend the extra $20 to get this game? Will it be somewhat realistic (hit detection, weapon sound, etc) to Battlefield Bad Company 2 or more sillyness just like MW 2. IMO MW2 was a step backwards from COD4 with all the perks and the speed of the game. I like BC2, but the expansion Vietnam is taking forever, and the current amount of maps available now are limited.
