Please help with this guy??

so this guy bruce i like him, and he already knew it for a while. we are both really shy and he doesnt talk much. so we went to the movies yesterday and the only two things i said to him before the movie was "hi" and "im gonna go get some ben and jerry's" (lame, i know) and then in the middle of the movie he just all of a sudden held my hand! i had like not seen it coming at all because he never once flirted with me or acted like he liked me at all! so then afterwards i said "so did you like the movie?" and he shyly said "ya" and he hardly looked at me when he said it! then he just said bye afterwards to go home and that was it! then i texted him and said like "does this mean you like me?" and he said "ya :)" and then all of a sudden he is a chatterbox when we are texting! so what the heck??? is he just shy or idk what to think?? i need some help hear! what does this mean what do i do???
