Why does everyone hate on the oakland raiders so much?

there are so many articles about how the raiders are a disgrace and how no one should go there. Its ridiculous everyone on nfl live talks negative about them. the even said they would rather want to watch aaron rodgers over jamarcus russel on opening night. I mean there are trying to get better with drafting mcfadden, russel, etc. how come no one hates on the new york jets and buffalo bills. they are pretty bad themselves and even the detroit lions. what im trying to say is that no one ever acknolodges the aquisitions we try to make to get better, they justt talk about the negatives. why is this so.
