What is a good turtle to get for a beginner turtle owner?

I don't want an aquatic turtle because I don't want to have to deal with all that water. I've never owned a turtle before so a low maintanice one would be nice. I haven't looked at any turtle breeds yet so maybe a few suggestions would be helpful. Please tell me why you chose this breed and a picture of it too if you can get one. Thanks for your help!!!
