Is it ok that i bathe my hamsters?

ok i have to hamsters that are like my babys and i bathe them in warm water when they wake up and before they go to bed,is that ok?i heard that if you give a hamster a cold bath then he will get the flu and die.also does anybody think my ruitine for getting my hamsters to bed is wierd,first i brush my hamsters so they know that it's getting ready to be bath time,then i give them there bath (i'm not doing this with both of them at the same time) and then i get there blanket (a smalll towel)and i hold them till there dry,then i turn there night light on and sit near there cage and brush his hair again,then i put him in his bed(then i di the same for the other one.o i just thought you might be wondering what there names are,i know this sounds kinda childish but i have had them for a looooong time and i have never changed there names,it's pooh bear and eyhor,in case you didn't know thats from winnie the pooh.i used to love watching that!!
