As an Atheist do ever consider?

There are many problems that human kind and the planet have faced and will face in the future. I think we should do our best to take care of each other and the planet and use our intelligence to whatever degree we can to avoid and if not avoid solve problems. I'm not sure how atheism plays there other then I don't think some external deity will come save us. Its up to us to be responsible and deal with making our world and lives as stable, healthy, and positive as possible. I try to do my part in these regards. Your specific claims, especially about honeybees, aren't particularly credible to me. Honey bees now are largely man cultivated and kept by bee farmers. They actually hurt wild bee populations. Bees aside there are also many other pollinating insect species. Nuclear war is a scary idea but all we can do is try to reduce the likelihood of it being used as an option, and reduce its availablity as an option as we can.
