Is there any way that Americans can stop the Mosque from being built?

The good thing about this country is that we have freedom of religion. Just because some nutjobs try to ociate themselves with a religion doesn't mean we have the right to blame the whole group. Have you ever heard of the Westboro Baptist Church? They do horrible things, but you don't see people like you saying that we shouldn't allow Baptist churches to be built.
