Sinusitis and bloody phlegm?

I was just wondering if it's possible to have bloddy phlegm while having a sinus infection. I have had sinus problems lately and for the past couple of days in the morning I've been gagging up bloody phlegm it's bright red is it possible it came from the sinus infection?
