Acoustic Guitar or Clical Guitar?

I want to start learning guitar but what type of guitar should I get? I'm not worried about the pain in my fingers because I play cello and my fingers are already used to finger stretching and metal strings digging into my fingers and I have built calluses on my fingers anyway. I'm not so much into just chords. I want to learn fingerstyle guitar and fingerpicking than just strumming chords. I know it might take me a long time to learn that. (Trust me, I know how hard instruments are to take up.) Any suggestions would be great.
