Good "old" car to "do up"?

When choosing an old car to do up, remember to consider parts availability and price. Like some models were only made in small numbers, making spares hard to come by and very costly. I'd probably go with something common and reliable, maybe a Gemini? There's stacks of them, they're cheap as, and look pretty hot when a bit of effort is put into them.
