Warning: kind of Long. Need your help: is this apology letter appropriate?

I think it is a beautiful letter. A bit long but it certainly was heartfelt. Anyone who would resent the fact that you owned up to your responsibilities, is a fool. How many people actually take responsibility for their behavior and apologize if they feel it was inappropriate. Good luck to you
