When Obama said he would veto a Balanced Budget Amendment?

He would veto the law the Tea Party is calling Cut, Cap, and Balance. That proposed law calls for Congress to p the amendment. It does not enact the Amendment as part of the law. Obama has the constitutional authority to veto any legislation ped in Congress. An amendment would have to be proposed separately from the law (it is not legislation). If a proposed amendment pes Congress ( and still needs to p in a super majority of states), he cannot veto the amendment.
